The other two were literally in their own world, the ecstatic atmospheric feeling of the two were always nonetheless like newlyweds. When Kyouko picked a song for her, she wasn’t surprised at all, in fact she was ready for the challenge. She lowered her head and gave a confident…
“Finally you get here! I’m starving! Just get me the biggest thing on the menu!.” As Kyouko looked at the waitress, she coulndn’t help but have a strange feeling like she had seen her before. A case of deja-vu maybe? Whatever the case, she looked at her video of Homura with a sly smile…the next time she became annoyed with Homura she planned on broadcasting the video online. She slowly got up to sing her song. Before she began she winked at Sayaka and exclaimed “I dedicate this song to you!” She started singing and made a perfect “Kira~” pose when the time came.
Sayaka stared in complete shock as Homura performed a near-perfect rendition of the famous Lucky Star theme. It was shocking enough to see her even smile that much at all, but to do the complete movements…Sayaka was far too surprised to even laugh. Is…this…the same Homura…? She wondered to herself as she watched. By the song’s end, Sayaka finally managed to break out from her shock and almost started to clap, until she noticed Homura’s face transform from the enthusiastic, excited expression she had during her performance back into her usual listless, unamused expression. An awkward laugh escaped her lips as she clapped weakly. ”Ehh…th-that was great, Homura-san,” she spoke barely above a whisper.
She watched the waitress walk in carefully, relieved that finally her stomach would be satiated so it wouldn’t have to constantly growl at her. Yet the waitress…Sayaka couldn’t help but think that she had met her somewhere before. Classmate? No way. Maybe an old acquaintance? Or a childhood friend? She couldn’t quite put her finger on it. Have I seen her somewhere? Maybe she looks like someone from a TV show or something. She pushed her thoughts out of her head before speaking up on her order. ”Oh! Oh! Can I have…um…hmm…a cheeseburger? Yeah! Perfect! And a milkshake!” She felt a bit bad for her figure by ordering such fattening things, but she was assured that at the rate she was fighting witches, working off a few extra pounds would be a simple walk in the park.
Since it was now Kyouko’s turn to sing, Sayaka assumed that she was either going to be set up with a song that would embarrass the brash, proud Kyouko or Kyouko would make the best of the bad situation and show off for her sake. The very moment the song was picked out, she broke out into a fit of giggles. The tomboyish Kyouko, even moreso than Sayaka herself singing a song so…girly. ”Really?! Oh man! I really wish I had my camera now!” the blue magi giggled uncontrollably as she tried to settle down to watch the upcoming performance with great earnest. ”Nasal combu—what?” Sayaka tried to repeat from the ebony magi, but more or less tuned out the “warning.” ”Ah, whatever. I’ll be just fine!” She smiled proudly and finally settled herself in to watch Kyouko’s performance. As she predicted, Kyouko was going to dedicate the performance to h—“Uwaaaa?!” Seeing Kyouko strike the famed Kira pose seemed to shock Sayaka still, even moreso than seeing Homura smile that widely. ”U-uhhh…” Words didn’t seem to be able to find her. Without even the blue magi’s own notice, a trickle of blood began to leak from her nose, making its way even across the magi’s shocked lips towards her chin, yet Sayaka seemed completely oblivious.
As the waiter walked in, Mami’s eye locked immediately at the girl. Why does she look really familiar? The blonde haired girl said examining her. I looked at Sayaka, who also had a really puzzled look. Do we know this waiter? I thought while changing views. Mami then looked at Sayaka again. “Do we know her?” the blonde haired girl said confused. She looked at the waiter once again who was waiting on their orders. “Uh, I’ll just have Tempura please” Mami said giving her a bright smile.
The blonde haired girl patiently waited for the food & was surprised at Homura’s singing. Wow… Shes having fun! I said to myself while giggling. “I’m happy that shes having fun” Mami said to the others. She watched Homura sing her heart out. Ahh, its a relief that her mood boosted up. The blonde haired girl still wonder why the waiter looked so familiar. “Its been a really busy day, lets have fun!” Mami said shouting out loud with enthusiasm.

Homura’s sudden glare in her direction nearly set off Sayaka’s own nerves. She was quickly starting to lose her patience with her. Just why did she have to be so stuck up…? It was starting to tick her off as well. With a vicious stare in return, she released her anger in a huff and remained silent for the most part during the entire trip there herself, hoping that food would cool her head down. She breathed a sigh of relief as they finally arrived in what felt to her her like no time flat.
Her stomach let out a growl of what could have been seen as approval as she nearly broke out into a run into their room. Her stomach compelled her to look at the menu, yet it was once again denied by the yank of the red magi upon her arm to force her to sit down next to her. ”Gah! Not so rough!” she whined as she rubbed her arm gently. ”Remember, you still promised me that apple pie.” Sayaka’s eyes drifted back over to Homura as she listened to Kyouko’s song of choice for her. For the briefest of moments, she couldn’t help but picture the ebony magi in Konata Izumi’s outfit…let alone having any semblance of her personality. She was forced to stifle a persistent giggle before settling herself in to watch the upcoming performance. In truth, she had no idea if Homura could sing or no…yet she was about to find out if singing was another one of her ‘talents.’ ”Gah! I…erm…actually didn’t bring my camera,” Sayaka confessed with a sheepish laugh. ”Ahaha…really, who brings a camera when witch hunting, anyway? Not like I knew we’d be coming here afterwards.”
Mami took a seat across from Sayaka & Kyouko to make sure she didn’t disturb the two love birds. Not paying attention, the blonde haired girl silently picked up the menu and looked at the pictures and words that were used to show & describe the food. Flipping through the pages, Mami noticed herself literally drooling over the food. Ahh, I guess I am really hungry; Before taking a look at the menu again, the blonde haired girl looked up at the others “You guys are full of yourself today” She said giggling & smiling at the three. Hmmm… Maybe we should’ve gone to my place to eat! Oh well… She thought to herself while being occupied by the menu.

Kyouko couldn’t help but feel her pride slip away as she realized that walking across town in the end wasn’t going to prove anything. She stammered ”F-fine we’ll go to the kareoke cafe a few blocks away.” She pulled out an apple and pondered throwing it at Homura, but then she would be wasting food. “Can you believe her Sayaka!? Look at those two! Mami’s way too nice to ice cube! Lets hurry up ahead of them.” Kyouko grabbed Sayaka’s arm and ran ahead of Mami and Homura. “Let’s go to the Kareoke Cafe nearby! You’ll sing for us right Homura?” Shouted Kyouko back to the two before turning back to Sayaka and smiling. “Lets share an apple pie for desert ok?”
How on earth do I manage to deal with this…Sayaka let out an exasperated sigh. Kyouko was the one holding everyone else up, even if it was by her invite they had decided to go get food in the first place. While the fact that Kyouko’s resolve broke quickly was music to her ears so that she wouldn’t have to go so far to travel to eat, she couldn’t help but be a bit annoyed by the ebony magi herself. She usually seemed so…stuck-up for some reason or another. And who was this “Madoka” anyway? She was such a mystery…never willing to let anyone get close to her. Even as kind as Mami was, it wasn’t difficult to see that she kept even her at arm’s distance. ”Whatever, let’s just go,” Sayaka grumbled as she started after the other two. She glanced over to Kyouko, who had latched onto her arm. ”Apple pie?” she echoed, her mood suddenly perking up quickly. ”Yes!! But on one condition: you’re buying.~” She stuck her tongue out at the red magi and giggled playfully, hoping that Kyouko would have no protests.
Mami giggled at the two that was now in front of her & Homura. She looked at Homura & then back at the two. “We better hurry” the blonde haired girl said impatiently. The sun seem to be setting & it was getting late. “Ahh, I’m so hungry!” she said to herself. Walking was so tiring especially since I was starving. The blonde haired girl’s curls bounced at the pace of her walking & she began to hum.
“Are we almost there?!” Mami exclaimed at the two in front of them. Her stomach began to growl even louder & she would just smile in embarrassment hoping nobody heard it. It was kinda awkward with Homura… “Homura, have fun tonight!” She said looking at the girl while giving her a small yet bright looking smile.
